2008 Yi Pin Tang

A great value puer made from Spring harvest leaf, this bing cha has aged for 5 years in Yunnan, and since been stored in our tea cave in Vermont.

These small, spring leaves brew a deep, dark maroon red color. The aroma is sweet with a just a hint of fermentation. The flavor is bright and crisp, while still being mellow and grounding at the same time. A dry mouth feel is accompanied by a touch of sour and a lingering, earthy, back of the throat savoriness.
