2011 Yong De Bing Cha

A rich and satisfying ripe puer cake from the Yong De Zi Yu factory in far south-west Yunnan.  Made from fresh, organically grown spring 2011 harvest leaf. A smooth, balanced flavor means that this tea can be enjoyed immediately or saved and aged.

A classic ripe puer, musty earth aroma is paired with a dark full body and a long, dry finish.  Mellow notes of walnut, licorice, and dried fruit pop up and fade away as damp, lasting earthiness settles in. Aged in Vermont since 2012.
