Located in the Kurseong valley of Darjeeling, Rohini Tea Estate is not only the youngest tea garden in Darjeeling, but also has some of the lowest elevation. The advantage of both of these is innovation & early season Spring (= 1st flush) harvests…& this tea was meticulously hand harvested during the colder early Spring months, when the buds take their time emerging from their winter slumber. This adds both delicacy & complexity.

Jethikupi is particularly unique in that oxidation was actually stopped before the tea was rolled. This gives a particularly light and smooth cup, with notes of freshly picked white grape, pear, & kiwi…and a particularly smooth finish for a first flush tea.

Particularly recommended for those who have an affinity for white tea.
