In 2016, we had the pleasure of visiting Gopaldhara for a couple days…we walked the fields in early morning, and late at night. See more of our story here.  We saw processing, plucking, and spent the day with the manager…not a bad day! Located in the gorgeous Mirik Valley, Gopaldhara features incredibly steep slopes that lead down to its new factory. They’ve been growing tea here for over 100 years, so they are pretty deeply rooted. Once again, we’re happy to provide two teas from this summer’s harvest…two distinct styles that truly express a Darjeeling 2nd Flush Tea.

We’re happy to introduce this new offering this year. Quite a unique 2nd Flush that lives up to its name…it’s BOLD! Notes of spice, clove, and tobacco are balanced with the rich malt and a touch of fruitiness of apricot.

Enjoy a few morning steepings, as there is much vitality to this tea.
