Beautifully crafted with a thin porcelain, this unique Sichuan style gaiwan features a textured body and numerous koi fish painted on the lid.*
Traditionally for green tea and drank straight from the gaiwan (using the lid to push back the tea), it has become a popular “teapot” for gongfu tea. We’ve seen it in Anxi for Tie Guan Yin, Pinglin for Bao Chung, and of course in Yunnan for Puer and Green tea.
