Wild White Tea Cake 2015
August 2015 Harvest
This white tea comes from the Guan Yang Region of Fuding in the Fujian Province. It is made with the leaves of wild trees grown at 900 meters. It is a Gong Mei grade white tea that has been pressed into cakes and aged.
This full bodied white tea brews notes of tobacco, melon, mushroom, honeysuckle, and fig.
Good quality pressed white tea is unique in it’s ability to brew quite strong, with tons of taste and fullness, but without bitterness. Some even prefer to simmer this tea in the kettle! Renown in chinese medicine for it’s cooling properties.
$4.00 – $85.00
