Lovely, fragrant tea. Reminds me of my morning tea in Lijiang.

I drink this tea almost every day. It’s earthy and strong, but also malty and sweet. I think there are notes of sweet potato, chestnut, and molasses. The leaves give many infusions without losing much flavor, so sometime I drink it all day too. To me, it’s an excellent everyday tea: not so exquisite that I feel bad for not cherishing it, but so good in the ways that it is good that it leaves nothing to be desired. I can think of no other good Chinese black tea that I have ready access to that offers such high quality at such a reasonable price.
