Shipping Policy

We ship USPS Priority Mail, most often within 3 business days. You should receive your tea items from 1 to 7 business days. Canadian orders take more time. For other international orders, please contact info@stoneleaftea.com or call 01-802-458-0460.

Returns Policy

We want you to be happy. Teaware items broken in transit can be returned at no extra cost, and we will send a new item as soon as feasibly possible. If you were shipped the wrong item by our error, we will apologize profusely and will pay for return shipping and immediately ship you the correct order. Please contact us at info@stoneleaftea.com to let us know of any issues, and we’ll do our best to help you out! All the above are valid within 30 days of purchase date.

Please Note: We no longer can accept returns of tea. Tea is food, we cannot resell it. Thus any returned tea is destined for the compost. Please keep in mind we are a small tea company…while large internet companies have had 100% return policies, it’s not viable for us. The good side of us being small, however, is that if you contact us, you can talk/email with a REAL LIVE PERSON, who cares about tea, you, & your tea experience. We will work with you to try to figure out if there’s something that can make the tea work for you!…whether changing steeping methods, home storage methods, or other suggesting other teas, we are committed to helping you.

Some notes on tea: Tea naturally changes over time!…due to so many factors that are beyond our control. An individual tea changes each harvest & while we try our best to have the taste profile be consistent, each harvest is unique! Part of what makes it great is what also can be challenging (like a lot of things, right?). We take tea storage seriously here, so commit to sending you the best possible tea from our Teahouse. We often ship our tea in compostable bags, which are meant to be temporary storage! We recommend transferring your tea into a tin, jar, or any clean container that is airtight and away from heat/light/off aromas. So many factors can effect the taste of your tea…from storage, shipment conditions, to the time of day you make it, where you are, or even what you ate previously! That’s why ask you consider this, and give the tea a chance.
