Org Yun Wu Cloud Mist

Cloud Mist Green Tea
Lin An, Zhejiang China
Our new selection of a well named Green tea China. So many of the tea gardens we visit are high in the mountains…shrouded in mist. This one is no exception. Located hours outside of Hangzhou, our teas from Lin An come directly from an Organic tea garden.
Our Cloud Mist Yun Wu is a great stronger green tea, but more subtle than our Organic Gunpowder. A green-golden infusion has a bold herbal cup, with notes of toasted hazelnut in the finish.
A great “everyday” green tea to help stimulate the senses!

has quickly become my favorite green tea! this is so delicate and drinkable without any bitterness that usually accompanies green teas. ( which I love, too!) but it’s light and uplifting and a real treat to the senses.

*SO GOOD*
I’ve been looking for somewhere to buy this tea and I’m so dang grateful I found stone leaf! Their yun wu is delicious- I drink it every morning! They were also so incredibly kind in answering a question I had with samples of tea in my order. 10/10- I can’t recommend them enough!

Great tea to show to people that are not familiar with green tea. It’s “round” flavor, reminds me a bit of the smell of my 2 acre lawn after it’s mowed, I agree with the subtle hazelnut. The leaves are not whole, such as in a higher grade cloud mist but don’t let that discourage you, the quality of the infusion is great, has a very happy chi, and best of all it’s organic!
I start by waking up the gaiwan with boiling water and then pour the leaves on top of the water when the water is not uncomfortable to keep your hand as a lid for the gaiwan. About 20 seconds after, pour the rinse and it’s good to drink. The second steep should also be with water at that temperature, use the gong dao bei to regulate. Shorter steep, increase time and or temperature after 4th steeping.
