White Buddha Mao Feng

Fresh harvest just in Spring 2023!

anji bai cha cultivar

Grown in the Jing Shan region, famous for its ancient Buddhist temple, this tea is prized for both a beautifully rolled leaf, and unique anji bai cha cultivar. Noted for its lighter golden leaf color, the cup is slightly more delicate and soft than our jing shan mao feng…smooth, sweet, and soft through the finish. Aromatic, with notes of cucumber, watercress, asian pear, and snap pea this tea is complex and truly lovely.

Discovered on our 2010 travels, we are happy to once again offer this fine tea from our Buddhist friend’s garden in Zhejiang, China. A very limited production early season tea.
