Ba Meng Da Shu
Da Shu: big tree: 大树: ~100 years old naturally growing tea trees
Ba Meng Village
Spring 2018: March 19th harvest to be exact.
Grown deep in the mountains of Ba Meng Village, near Meng Song, the Hani people cultivate tea trees spread over a diverse landscape. They’ve tended these trees for many generations, still processing the teas completely by hand and heating them by wood fire. The landscape and their methods give distinctive character to their teas: a noticeable strength and smoothness of raw puer that makes it drinkable, fresh, and great for aging.
This Da Shu loose leaf puer tea is notably flavorful and aromatic, with notes of basil and a pleasant robustness that satisfies like a good raw puer should.
