One of the first harvests of 2026!!!! 

Rohini Tea Estate in Darjeeling is the first to produce fresh tea each year…this is due to its lower elevation, as well as early season cultivars planted there years ago. Grown from B157 tea trees, this years first pick is bright green, & lightly oxidized by natural methods…all processed with utmost care to not damage the leaf…the results are seen in the dry leaf & the cup…blending the line between green and black tea (but we still call it a black tea) 🙂

This is the brightest, greenest of our Darjeeling 1st flushes.

Fresh, bright, & vibrantly green!

A smooth, complex cup with notes of white grape, raw walnut, marshmallow root, and dandelion, with a crisp, dry finish. The distinct aroma of the freshly brewed leaves is earthy and sweet, with a bright coolness reminiscent of fresh fennel and black birch.
