From the producer: “Mai Tea is based in Mai, Ilam — a region primarily home to the Limbu community. In the Limbu language, “Saamyang” translates to “Gold” or “Golden.” We’ve begun giving our teas more traditional names to honor our roots and help keep our culture and heritage alive through our teas.”
The freshly brewed leaves give off the aroma of cocoa, with a smooth sweet malt cup, with notes of plantain, apple peel & cherry bark.
