The first early season teas from Darjeeling!
We’re lucky to be able to receive these February harvests from the lower elevations of Rohini Tea Estate (1500-3000 feet). This 1st flush (spring harvest) is allowed to naturally oxidize during the processing phase (no separate oxidation phase), which results in a green leaf & vibrant cup!…a unique tea that makes the line between green and black tea a wee bit fuzzy 🙂
Teahouse Staff Tasting Notes:
Viscous brew with a dry, tingly finish.
Full bodied and complex, with the fruity brightness of apricot, peach, and orange blossom fading into softer, earthier notes of white bean and grape skin.
