House Dark Roast Oolong – Tung Ting

Tung Ting Oolong: Winter 2021 Harvest

Our darker roast oolong takes over a month of slow roasting in our bamboo roasters. The result is a darker infusion with deep amber/reddish tones. Taste-wise it gives a sweet carmelized sugarcane sweetness balanced with a dark cherry cask finish.

We’ve been roasting oolong tea for over 12 years in our bamboo roasters here in our Vermont Teahouse. If you’ve ever visited while we are, you’ve experienced one of the finest aromas one can experience (in our totally unbiased opinion)…the closest to being in a tea factory in Taiwan.
