This medium roasting in bamboo baskets lightly caramelizes the tea, yielding aromatic notes of lilac, cherry, basil, and toasted cashew.
We’ve been roasting oolong tea for over 14 years in our bamboo roasters here in our Vermont teahouse. If you’ve ever visited while we are, you’ve experienced one of the finest aromas one can experience (in our totally unbiased opinion)…the closest to being in a tea factory in Taiwan.
March Roasting – 2.5 weeks low temp roasting.
