Si Ji Chun “Four Seasons Spring” Cultivar

This medium roasting in bamboo baskets lightly caramelizes the tea, yielding aromatic notes of lilac, cherry, basil, and toasted cashew.

We’ve been roasting oolong tea for over 12 years in our bamboo roasters here in our Vermont teahouse. If you’ve ever visited while we are, you’ve experienced one of the finest aromas one can experience (in our totally unbiased opinion)…the closest to being in a tea factory in Taiwan.

Nov/Dec 2023 Roasting – 2 weeks mid temp roasting.

    Yum! This one is delicious. I taste the caramelization and brown sugar. It also tastes a bit nutty to me. This one is a winner. Recommended.
