Zhang Jia Wan – 张家湾 – village in Man Sa Shan, east of Yiwu. One of the Six Famous Mountains in Xishuanbanna.
Teahouse Staff Tasting Notes:
Funky, sweet aroma like brown sugar with a hint of fermented sourness.
Notes of peach pit, dried apricot, green grape, starfruit, and pine wood. Starts off fruity and faintly smokey, while later steeps are sharper and greener. Overall a light, golden brew with a dry finish.
