This is truly a unique tea. There are very few tea gardens left in Da Yu Ling (“Da Yu Ridge”) in Taiwan, as many are being returned to the wild as a national park…in fact, we thought we could not get anymore!…but Master Liao surprised us with this high altitude gem made from the true Tie Guan Yin tea varietal.

Teahouse Staff Tasting Notes:

Soft, delicate, & a touch musky, floral notes of lilac and lavender, give way to sweet buttery notes of white asparagus and bamboo shoot.

Fresh and green twigs from a birch or flowering tree, “mountain stream blessed by monks,” “stream pool in the mountains dotted with water plants on a summer day,” full bodied, smooth and lasting mouthfeel.
